Tail of the Storm

The tail of the storm (or the outer ring) of Tropical Storm Fay has been hitting us off and on since 2:00 am. We've had three power outages - I've now given up resetting my clocks! Due to this chaotic bursts of rain and wind, I'm taking the rest of the afternoon off. If I have power late tonight I will add my "doll of the day" to Shop 66. My other new items will be listed late tomorrow night and Sunday if the storm has finally moved out of our region. Cross your fingers!! :)

That's strange. I just said to my husband lastnight that I was surprised that our power hasn't been flickering or going out with all the wind. And still, not a single outage, here. Hang in there for a few more days!

Top of Lady's Island has been slammed several times. I've been watching the radar (when I have power) and Port Royal, Beaufort, Parris Island and Fripp are all spared. HH and Bluffton are getting slammed too. It's truly a "band(s)" of rain as the weather service is describing.

It must be rather unnerving living in those parts. I'll be sittin' here visualizing Fay moving far from your direction. Please be safe Gretch! <3

I'm in Orlando and we finally have sunshine today! Of course, with threats of "regular" thunderstorms - but that's a normal August day. Hope you guys came through Fay O.K. and have sunshine, too!

Cheers, Shannon
