Once upon a time there was a shop called....

HELLLLLOOOO!!! Dear Shop 66 Friends!

It has been an eternity since I last blogged. Yes! I'm ok. Because I'm here! So that means something.

Over the past 3 years, I spent 1/2 that time battling breast cancer and I'm very happy to say I won! Above is a small portion of my hair loss and regrowth journey (July 2011 to February 2013). Wow!

I also suffered another big loss only a few months after my move back home to Pasadena, my dear ex-boyfriend, George, passed away in October 2010. It's hard to believe I lost another man in my life. But God has a way of showing us life when we are at our lows.

Because I'm going to be Grandma in July! Below is a cute photo of the Samantha and Adam. They are having a girl! (Of course!) Hooray!

I've still have years of things to share with you. I'm sure you have hundreds of questions.

And there will be time for that... in the meantime. Hello friends! I am well, I hope you are well too.

Visit me on Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/simpleandkind/ It's where I've been recently.

Come back in a few days and I'll share more.

xo xo Gretchen

(P.S. Yes, there's lots of old links on here and the old shop and etc. As days go on I will be updating them with new, fresh information.)

Gretchen! How wonderful to hear your news after so long! I thought about you often, and I heard that you'd sold your collection. I imagined you were going through some big life changes. So glad that you've beaten the cancer now, and I hope your life keeps giving you good things to keep the balance. I've been away from blogging and Flickr for a while too, but am getting addicted to Pinterest, so I'll find you now! Yay!! You're back!
